๐จ๐ฆ What are the prices of meat in Canada?
At Costco, a wholesale store, prices can be more attractive, but the packages are large โ which is great for those who like to stock up! Here are the values I found:
๐ฅฉ Picanha (top sirloin cap): CAD$ 19.99/kg. The packages usually weigh between 2.5 kg and 3 kg, perfect for a family barbecue.
๐ฅฉ Ground beef: CAD$ 11.99/kg, with packs that usually come with at least 2 kg.
๐ฅฉ Striploin: This is a more expensive cut here in Canada. The price was CAD$ 26.99/kg, and the packs come with about 5 kg โ that's meat for many lunches!
๐ Chicken:
Chicken thigh: CAD$ 7.39/kg.
Chicken wing: CAD$ 10.99/kg.
Chicken breast: CAD$ 14.99/kg.
The packs weigh, on average, 2.5 kg, which makes the value for money worthwhile.
๐ก So, is it worth it?
With picanha in Brazil costing around R$ 70/kg, Canada's prices aren't actually that scary, considering the quality and the volume of the packages.
๐ Tell me: what do you think of these prices? Would you pay for these large packages or do you prefer to buy meat in Brazil? ๐โจ
