✨ Romanticizing Canada can be costly. Here are 5 truths no one tells you:
1️⃣ "Canada is desperate for Brazilians!"
False. The country is looking for qualified professionals — of any nationality. What counts is your profile, not your origin.
2️⃣ "You can get a job without speaking French or English."
Very hard. Without the language, even simple jobs can be unfeasible. Communication here is essential and valued.
3️⃣ "Just arrive as a tourist and find a job."
That's illegal. Working as a tourist can result in deportation and make future visas harder. Watch out for anyone selling this shortcut!
4️⃣ "With a student visa you live really well with your family."
It depends. The cost of living in Canada is high and supporting a family requires real planning. It's not always as simple as it seems.
5️⃣ "Renting a place is easy, you can close the deal from afar."
It's not quite like that. There are scams, complicated contracts, and bad neighborhoods disguised as "great." Having help makes ALL the difference.
